At Artificial Alibi, we create an environment of personal connection with the help of artificial intelligence. It's all about humans interacting with humans, face to face. When playing the game, our Artificial Alibi software will produce the mystery setting, character cards, background information, and verdict right on the spot based off the customized choices of the players. When the game starts, the players receive the custom created information, become their characters, and dive into solving the mystery!

Q: What's the best number of people for a mystery game?
This depends on what kind of party you are having and the detail level of the mystery itself. Typically however, a mystery party has between 8-20 guests, but that is not a rule! Many mystery parties can be unforgettable with fewer than 8 or more than 20 players!
Q: When will I receive my game?
Our product launches in October, 2024. If you order it as a presale, you will receive your game directly following the game's launch. Once the presale ends, when you order your game, it will arrive in your email inbox or through a text message within minutes.
Q: How early before the actual party should I send out the invites?
Whenever you want! It's always smart to invite people early enough to ensure they're free for your party. However, you and friends could always host a spur-of-the-moment mystery party right on the spot!
Q: Do I pay, or do my guests?
Only the host pays. If you will be hosting a social party where it makes sense to split the cost, we encourage you to have your guests reimburse you as you see fit.
Q: How long does it take to generate a game?
Once you've solidified who is present to participate, generating the game itself takes 15 minutes from the time you hit "Make the Mystery".
Q: When do I pay?
You will pay right before your game starts when you hit "Make the Game". Because the cost of your party game depends on the number of people in attendance, when you pay right before the game, you already know that everyone is present. You aren't charged for invitees who don't show up!
